Hello, I’m Natalia.

For the past 15 years, Spain has been my home. But my story began much farther away — in a small town in Siberia, surrounded by endless forests and rivers. My childhood was filled with nature: weekends spent picking wild berries and mushrooms, boating down quiet rivers, skiing through snowy landscapes, and learning to appreciate the beauty of every season.

Looking back, I believe this deep connection with nature shaped everything I create today.

Before becoming a florist, I worked in marketing and sales. After moving to Spain and becoming a mother, I realized I wanted a completely different life. I didn’t want to spend my days in an office anymore. Almost by accident—but perhaps exactly as life intended—I enrolled in a floral design course and opened my first tiny studio.

A few years later, life brought me to the Netherlands, the heart of the flower industry and home to the world’s largest flower auction. There, I became the manager of a new flower shop in the center of Amsterdam.

Every day I was surrounded by breathtaking fresh flowers. I still adore them today. In the Netherlands, fresh flowers are part of everyday life, filling homes with beauty. But every evening I also watched nearly one-third of those flowers being discarded simply because they were no longer considered perfect for sale.

That never felt right.

Around the same time, I discovered the incredible world of dried and preserved flowers, long before they became a global trend. I became fascinated by floral artists in Japan and South Korea, who had perfected the art of preserving fresh flowers while maintaining their natural beauty—and in many cases, even their fragrance.

It completely changed the way I thought about floristry.

When we returned to Spain, I founded Lunaria Flowers to combine timeless floral design with a more thoughtful and sustainable approach.

Today, I still lose track of time every time I step into my studio.

Creating floral arrangements is only part of what I love. I enjoy searching for exceptional materials, experimenting with new techniques, finding better ways to work, and even preserving many flowers myself. I believe craftsmanship is a journey of constant learning and refinement, and I never stop looking for ways to make every bouquet even more beautiful than the last.

Over the past five years, I have carefully created and shipped more than 7,000 floral pieces to couples around the world. Most of my brides come from the United States and the United Kingdom, and every bouquet carries a story that is deeply personal.

To me, a wedding bouquet is never “just flowers.”

It becomes part of your photographs, your memories, your family albums, and one day perhaps even something your children and grandchildren will look back on. That is why I approach every order with great care, attention to detail, and genuine respect for your story.
